WE’RE MOVING TO KANSAS CITY

We’re moving to Kansas City in less than a month, can you believe it?!

Tim has accepted an amazing opportunity with Radiant Church KC where we both get to be in ministry together again.

While my brain is going a million miles an hour I just wanted to document the story on the blog. To first backtrack, I am originally from Birmingham, and Tim is from Springfield, Missouri. I actually did live in Kansas City at one point of my life and long story short, that is where Tim and I met! We got married and I moved to Springfield where he was a youth pastor. We truly loved getting to do ministry together.

During the pandemic, we needed a shift. We both were missing Kansas City, but we did not have peace about moving back there. So, we moved where my family is in Birmingham. Tim took a step back from full time ministry to learn from Highlands College evening program and we started growing our family along the way.

Once Tim graduated in early spring 2022, we were actively searching for a new opportunity for him. Doors opened, doors closed. Some looked good on paper, some were clearly not for us. The waiting season was so hard.

Then at Christmas, we got a phone call that changed our life. We took about a month or two to pray and fast before deciding – but we knew almost at the very moment that this was the right move for us! We’re moving in April so we will be there so soon.

As far as photography, nothing is changing except geography! I will be flying back frequently for family and weddings. If you’re in Birmingham and interested in staying in the loop, join my email list to hear about my coming and goings.
